SEPTEMBER 21INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE

Today, humanity is called upon to observe 24 hours of non-violence and a ceasefire; yet peace cannot be limited to a single day, nor reduced merely to the silencing of weapons.

True peace is born when we choose dialogue over confrontation, justice over indifference, and respect over hatred. It is built by upholding human dignity, protecting children, aiding those who suffer, and rejecting all forms of violence, discrimination, and abuse.

In a world marked by war, displacement, and deep divisions, indifference also inflicts harm. Every life lost represents a collective failure; every family torn apart reminds us of the urgent need to reclaim our humanity.

From our institutions, we issue a firm call to governments, international bodies, and societies worldwide: let us halt violence, pave the way for reconciliation, and make peace a shared responsibility.

May this September 21st be not merely a commemoration, but the beginning of a genuine commitment. For peace is not proclaimed through words alone; it is demonstrated through justice, solidarity, and actions that protect life.

Let us build a world where dialogue is stronger than violence and where no human being has to live in fear.
